This is our core offering.  Strength and conditioning focuses first on quality of movement and with that movement we help you develop an unparalleled level of fitness.  Our goal is to improve your overall work capacity. Our underlying principle is that you can generally tie performance metrics pretty closely to commonly tracked health metrics.  In other words, the stronger your athletic performance the healthier you are. Through the use of resistance training, metabolic conditioning and nutrition we can not only improve the way you look and feel but the way your body operates from the inside out.  Regardless of your starting point or where you are today, this program can take you anywhere you want to go.

PERSONAL TRAINING

As with most things in life, the deeper the focus the better and faster the results.  Our one on one personal training pairs you with a coach who will dive deep into your needs and goals before designing a focused and well rounded custom plan to help you achieve those goals.  This path is best for anyone looking for very particular results or sport specific training. For example, you have a wedding coming up (Congrats!!) and want to look your best, or you want to be the best on the field to be more attractive to potential scouts.  Basically, if it’s important to you, we will design the best possible approach to get you there.

INDIVIDUALIZED NUTRITION COACHING

This is probably the most valuable service we offer because it is undoubtedly the one we can’t live (long) without.  It’s fair to say not everyone is an expert in programming their own nutrition. Well lucky for you, we have studied this stuff long and hard so that we can be.  If you are struggling with getting your nutrition on track, a qualified coach will work with you one on one to first figure out why, then design an individual plan to fix it. There is NO one size fits all approach in nutrition and designing something that works for YOU is one of the most important tasks we have as coaches.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Short answer, no.  Any athletic shoe that you can move well in works for us.  Don’t go out and buy a new shoe collection until you understand exactly what you need for your body.

Absolutely not! Where you stand RIGHT NOW is where we want you to start.  Everyone had a first day and you don’t need to feel any kind of way about being “not in the best shape.”  Once you walk in our doors you gain an extra family, and everyone shared that first day experience, they’ll be more than happy to tell you all about it.

Basically we want to teach you how to move correctly for your body and then use that movement to develop a world class level of fitness.  To do this we use weight lifting, body weight movement and moderate to high intensity cardiovascular conditioning. In other words you’ll move lots of stuff, sometimes fast, and only if you’re ready.

Cool, not a problem.  Was/is it serious? Have you seen a doc?  All questions we will ask when you come in so that we know for certain you will only be given appropriate movement and tasks for your body! We may even be able to refer you to our network of professionals, clinicians and practitioners that we trust and work with!
